First Shooting Photo Challenge: Animals in Nature

Upon recently acquiring my new 50mm f/1.8 lens, I wanted to start a photo shooting challenge.
This bi-weekly photo Challenge will be:Animals in Nature.

The Challenge

Take a photo of a creature/animal in its natural habitat. Spring is now in full bloom, and that means animals are starting to come out of their long awaited hibernation/shelter from the winter.

The Technique

The photo should try to capture an animal undisturbed in nature. Night time or day time, the option is completely up to you.

Any camera is fine, does NOT have to be a DSLR.

Anything from Cell phones  to DSLR is acceptable.

The Example

The example above was taken from Katie Moran, on her trip to Boston.

A simple photo of a Swan sitting on its nest, awaiting its baby swan to hatch.
