West Virginia

The idea orginally for this post was to be pirates. But after trying to find a good amount of different pictures and talk about them two things happen.

1. I really have no idea about pirates
2. Pirates do no interest me nearly enough to put that much effort into it.

So... I noticed I did not have a profile picture, and went looking for one and realized this will be about "West Virginia".

I came across this picture is my search for my profile picture.

Breif history: Captain Dayton C. Casto jr displaying the nose art of fighter "West 'By God' Virginia," January 1944. His P-47 was part of the 375th Fighter Squadron.

Another wise known as: Killing Casto. Casto was responsible for killing over 1,000 men, he sometimes like to land his P-47 and just go killing. Not to worry he only killed agressive men, and had extremely good manners for the ladies.

Hemphill train wreck, 1936

History: Driver of the train was making love to his sister... One thing led to another train fell off the tracks... This is the orgins of the West Virginia incest jokes/rumors.

Falls at Gauley Mountain

As it turns out this is a lot harder then anticipated, posting tons of pictures and putting a little bit of text below each.

Now for Blue Hole:

Blue Hole is one of the best swimming holes in the U.S. Located in Kingwood, West Virginia, it's just 30 minutes east of Morgantown, home of West Virginia University.

Also an 80 Foot High Bridge. (That I jumped off!)
