Attached is a video of Japanese reporters who are brave enough to venture into the evacuation zone, which is approximately a 20 kilometer radius of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
I personally do not think i would be brave enough to venture as close to the power plant as they even did. They too even stop advancing towards the power plant, due to such high levels of radiation. The people who stayed behind and worked on the power plant, I believe they knew the fate that was for them.
I also regret to say, I am sure the workers who stayed behind at the power plants will experience some type of cancer in the coming months/years.
